The annual "I care" Beverly Tire & Auto Golf Tournament"
In support of Hospice Simcoe
August 20th, 2008
Each year, Beverly Tire & Auto is pleased to support Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario. In 2008, Beverly Tire & Auto Manager Ron Gentle and his team worked hard to help organise and support this tournament, which took place at Tangle Creek Golf Club. Golfers were treated to lunch, golfing, cocktails, dinner, awards, and a live auction - all to benefit Hospice Simcoe, a wonderful community-oriented organisation.
In 2008, Hospice Simcoe celebrated their 20th anniversary. Assisting over 1,400 clients annually who are living with any life-threatening illness or bereavement, Hospice's exceptional volunteers provide in-home visits to clients and their families and offer caring and compassionate support.

Latest News:
Hospice Simcoe's administration offices have moved to their new 14,000 square foot facility in Barrie, ON! This new facility features a 10-bed residential Hospice which is, like all other hospice services, provided at no cost to the client.
Congratulations to Hospice Simcoe for their great work and continuing expansion!
Career Quest Day
Banbury Heights Elementary School
May 7th, 2009

On May 7th 2009, Haysaam "Sam" Elsaadi, a Tech from our Brantford location, participated in the Career Quest Day at a Banbury Heights, a local Elementary School.
Sam provided a hands-on presentation for the grades 7 and 8 students which included an introduction to different auto parts, a scanner demo, and provided General Automotive Mechanic Career and Apprenticeship information.
As students grow and develop, we hope many of them choose to work in the automotive industry - which continues to meet economic and ecological challenges with innovation and determination. Skilled trades, especially those of the automotive sector, are in high demand and important to our ever-growing and demanding society.
